How the process works

When will I see results and how many rounds do I need?
Fat cells are frozen immediately. For the body to cleanse itself of those dead fat cells from the treated area it will take weeks and sometimes a few months. It is a gradual slimming of the treated area that will continue to become visible.
It is customary for each area to need 1-3 treatments depending upon the amount of fat to be reduced and your individual goals. Most individuals see optimal results following their second round of treatment.
Are there any side effects after a treatment?
Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment. Rare side effects may also occur. Paradoxical hyperplasia (visibly enlarged tissue volume in the treated area) may develop 2 to 5 months after treatment and requires surgical intervention for correction. As with any medical procedure, ask your medical practitioner if CoolSculpting® Elite is right for you.
